I really enjoyed doing this one, just because the whole idea for it really does make me smile! I got the idea when I saw the original stock, after looked in the rest of their gallery and seeing the shot I used for the inner child, I just had to make it!

Nothing too special with making this, although I did use a new technique for the inner child's hair. Anyway, any criticisms would be greatly appreciated!

That's very cute! A very interesting concept and very nicely executed. The contrast between the monotone girl holding the picture and the brightly colored "inner child" works very well.

This is beautiful, and so is the concept! I don't think it's one of your best but only because I'm not too keen on the "inner child" image. I'd like it more if it were an actual child.

Thanks very much, it's very kind of you to say! Ahhh when I was looking at possible inner child images for it I was debating whether to use a child or not, eventually I decided it'd be better to go with the same model, acting in a kind of childlike manner... Partly because when we imagine ourselves we never see what we looked like in our childhood (at least I never do!), but mostly it's because I saw that image I ended up using and just loved it!

it's adorable, hun!

i'm unsure about the black on white line drawing but the picture being white makes it really... contrasting to the rest of the image, which is good to like.. show the cherrfulness of childhood or what have you.

Hehe, it's funny...To me, the inner child is the woman holding the frames and the woman inside the frame is the adult...who can't break out. I interepret things like this because of the way you shaped the girl's mouth...it is funny looking, suggesting childish whim...Interesting :giggle:
